Morehead State is our First Team to Punch a Ticket to March Madness 2024

Morehead State is the first team to punch its ticket to the 2024 March Madness tournament, representing the Ohio Valley. Morehead State took a huge lead early, but Little Rock came storming back to make it a game before Morehead State took off late in the second half. 18 players from our pool took a win tonight, an important win since it came with bonus points. 1 conference championship complete, 31 to go! 🎫

Here are the updated standings with the Ohio Valley championship complete, the Bradley loss from the Missouri Valley, and a couple losses out of the Southern Conference. Matthew leads the way, based on his accuracy and max points, with Tina right behind him. Sohler is in 3rd place, but with his lack of bonus point opportunities he needs high accuracy (winning %). Finally, Basket Ball Boy rounds it out in 4th place. This really doesn't mean much this early on, but I'd rather be in this position than further down the standings.

We will have 3 conference tournament championships tomorrow, which will likely change around the standings, so the order above won't stick around too long. Additionally, many conferences wrapped up the regular season today, once I start updating the seeding we're going to see people gain/lose bonus point opportunities. I'll keep posting blog entries, updating the standing via this link, and send one last e-mail tomorrow evening.
