ASUN Madness: 1 Seed Eastern Kentucky and 3 Seed Lipscomb Go Down in Flames

The Atlantic Sun games tonight were absolutely wild with statistical favorite, and 1-seed, Eastern Kentucky losing a fun battle to 10-seed Jacksonville, while pool favorite, and 3-seed Lipscomb lost to 6-seed North Alabama. We were all laughing at Galpin 24 hours ago, and now 28 of us suffered a loss in the Atlantic Sun conference, before the semifinals. Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville was a battle with both teams going back and forth until the end, it really was a great game. Over to Lipscomb, they were down big most of the game, but made a wild comeback and almost forced overtime, but North Alabama won with a buzzer beater!

Only 2 pool participants are alive in the Atlantic Sun, Sully with (2) Stetson and Team TNT with (4) Austin Peay. Bonus points are on the table for Team TNT, but we're all rooting against both off you. 😂

Although they had a few great games over in other conferences, the Horizon League, Patriot League, and Sun Belt (Yes, I forgot to mention earlier that they tipped off today) we're all non-eventful for our pool, but here are the current standings with the Eastern Kentucky and Lipscomb debacle.

I, and many others, predicted these conference tournaments would be wild, but I had no clue it would come this quickly. We'll see this across almost every conference, and I wonder if we could have our lowest scoring winner in pool history. Governors head coach Corey Gipson leaping up onto the scorer's table, in camo, sums up this night.
